Scin in Notting Hill have recently launched 4 100% Natural Candles exclusively available online at scinboutique.com or at the Notting Hill branch on Kensington Park Road.  These candles add to the Natural and Organic brands like Suki, This Works and BeGenki that are stocked in their boutique.

The 4 strong range of Scin Candles are all made from botanical wax and pure essential oils.  Choose from Jude, Shore, Eleven or Home.  Each named in reference to a memory that the scents mean to the co-owners Nicky and Anna Noble.

Jude Candle is in memory of Nicky’s Godmother who used to massage Anna when she was young and who inspired Anna to study Beauty Therapy.  Jude contains a blend of Geranium, Clary Sage and Bergamot and is one of our best selling candles at Scin.

The other blends are all slightly different with Home being more of a wintery scent, Shore being more relaxing and Eleven being more uplifting.

Natural Botanical wax is becoming more and more popular as people become better educated about the harmful effects of paraffin wax which is standard in most candles unless otherwise stated.  Paraffin wax in candles produces a smoke which is not that dissimilar to that of cigarette smoke so you can imagine is not the best thing to inhale.
